Located on beautiful family-owned farms in the Hunter Valley and near Port Stephens in regional New South Wales, Free Range Egg Farms is home to hens who are free to roam and enjoy their natural behaviours.
They lay their eggs in nesting boxes, wander outside to forage, flap their wings, scratch around, enjoy a dust bath, and, when ready, return to their roomy sheds at dusk.
Supplementing the high-quality feed with foraged natural foods and small stones aids the hen's digestion and gives our eggs a rich golden colour and great flavour. Our sheds provide the hens with nests, shelter, natural light, and fresh air with feed and water on demand. At the same time, our automated egg collection and temperature control guarantee quality and freshness for you.
Our hens are well cared for and enjoy an outdoor stocking density maximum of 10,000 hens per hectare (one hen per square metre).
